The Call of Duty series is reportedly heading back to World War II in 2021. The next game in the franchise, this one developed by Call of Duty: WWII studio Sledgehammer Games, is reportedly titled Call of Duty: WWIIVanguard and will once again have ties to Warzone, the free-to-play Call of Duty battle royale game that launched with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
