2017 Melbourne Cup winner offered as stallion prospect, fails to meet reserve

2017 Melbourne Cup winner Rekindling was led out of the ring unsold at 95,000gns (A$190,000) as the opening day of the 2020 Tattersalls December Mare Sale concluded on Tuesday morning (Melbourne time).
Rekindling was the last horse offered, a supplementary lot presented as a stallion prospect, on the first day of the four-day auction, going through the ring at Newmarket (UK) just past 9:30pm on Monday night.
