Rebonjour, Izzy: Catalans happy to welcome back Folau if NRL dream fails – Sydney Morning Herald
Israel Folau hasn’t burnt his bridges in the Super League with Catalans happy to have him back if he can’t find an alternative.

Catalans coach Steve McNamara said he had spoken with Folau this week and told The Sun-Herald the dual international was always welcome back if his family situation improved and the NRL slammed the door shut on a comeback.
It has since become well known Folaus mother-in-law fell ill before Christmas and being on the other side of the world during the COVID pandemic had placed extra pressure on his young family.
