Real Madrid have suffered a humiliating Copa del Rey exit, losing 2-1 after extra-time to the 10 men of third-tier side Alcoyano.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane had warned there was no such thing as an easy game before the tie and his decision to rest a host of stars spectacularly backfired.
