Rare AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS runs as fast as some 10th gen Core i9-10980HK laptops and at a lower TDP – Notebookcheck.net
Our first in-house Ryzen 7 4800HS benchmarks are in and they show much of an advantage AMD has over Intel in terms of performance-per-watt with its 7 nm Zen 2 Renoir series.

Much like how the 35 W Ryzen 9 4900HS is the slightly slower version of the 45 W Ryzen 9 4900H, the 35 W Ryzen 7 4800HS is the slightly slower version of the 45 W Ryzen 7 4800H. AMD introduced the HS series specifically for smaller chassis designs like the Asus Zephyrus G14 while larger laptops like the Asus ROG G703 can utilize the full-power H series.
