Rapid coronavirus testing to begin at two sites in Halton next week – Cheshire Live
The council will be setting up two centres where they will be using the lateral flow tests that were trialled in Liverpool
Two sites in Halton will be carrying out rapid coronavirus testing from next week.
The council confirmed that the SMART testing method trialled in Liverpool, using the lateral flow tests, will begin at the Grangeway Community Centre in Runcorn and Ditton Community Centre in Widnes on December 14.
Halton, along with other areas of the Liverpool City Region, has initially received 10,000 tests and will get a weekly supply to allow them to test 10% of the borough’s population.
