Stars fined and hit hard following separate incidents
Canberra Raiders duo Corey Horsburgh and Corey Harawira-Naera have both been issued with breach notices by the NRL following separate drink driving incidents.
Horsburgh last month pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving, with the NRL today issuing him with a one-match suspension and a $5000 fine. The fine will be suspended for 12 months.
“The specifics being that on Christmas Day Horsburgh recorded a low range blood alcohol reading during a roadside breath test,” the NRL said in a statement.
