Rafael Nadal has joined the growing number of tennis players expressing doubts about competing in the Tokyo Olympics.
- Asked if he would be competing in COVID-hit Japan, Nadal said, “Under these circumstances, I don’t know”
- Nadal won a singles gold in Beijing in 2008, and took out the men’s doubles in Rio with countryman Marc Lopez
- He joins Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka and Kei Nishikori in expressing concerns over the Tokyo Games
