There is no horse racing in Australia on Tuesday due to the weather.
Excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday, up until 2017, this rare event is the first time there hasn’t been a thoroughbred race run on a day since Monday, July 11, 2016 when the Wagga and Ecucha meetings were abandoned due to weather.
Prior to that day in 2016, it was back in 2007 when the Equine Influenza outbreak forced the closure of thoroughbred racing across Australia.
