Rabbitohs ripped for ‘really nasty’ approach to chasing Suaalii – Fox Sports
After a tense tug-of-war, South Sydney look set to snare teenage sensation Joseph Suaalii.
It didnt come cheap though, with the soon-to-be 17-year old agreeing to a four-year deal understood to be worth $2.5 million according to Fox Leagues James Hooper.
Rugby Australia have maintained they were never in the financial position to match or beat the offer, quashing any reports that they had tabled a $3 million offer.
