The first Queenslander to receive the Pfizer vaccine is likely to be a Queensland Health nurse from the frontline COVID-19 fever clinic on the Gold Coast.
The Gold Coast University Hospital has one of Queenslands five remaining positive COVID cases.
The Gold Coast University Hospital is also where actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were treated for COVID-19 infection 12 months ago in one of the worlds first high-profile cases.
