Queensland’s domestic violence policing and policies are being shaped by lived experience

While police officers encounter violence almost daily, nothing Sergeant Sharon Morgan experienced at work compared to what she endured at home.

“I had threats that he was going to kill me. I knew that if I left … he would carry out those threats”, Morgan said.
