Queensland’s COVID app downloaded a million times in a fortnight
The Queensland government’s official COVID-19 check-in app has been downloaded more than 1 million times in the two weeks since it was officially rolled out.
That is despite the app not being mandatory, although the government has been pushing it as a good alternative to entering a person’s details multiple times across multiple different data systems.

Minister for Digital Economy Leeanne Enoch said more than 7600 businesses had taken up the app, with more than 1 million Queenslanders downloading it to their phones.
