Queensland youth offending and bail laws under fire after pregnant couple die in Alexandra Hills crash
There are calls for Queensland to toughen its youth offending laws after a pregnant Brisbane woman and her partner were allegedly killed by a teen driving a stolen car.
Kate Leadbetter and Matthew Field, 31 and 37 years old, were walking their dogs in Alexandra Hills on Tuesday evening when the shocking incident occurred.

A 17-year-old driver, who was out on bail at the time of the incident, allegedly ran a red light in a stolen car and crashed, rolling into them.
