Queensland trio accused of COVID-19 border breach expected to plead guilty

Three women accused of lying on border declaration forms to avoid quarantine after travelling to Victoria are expected to plead guilty.
Diana Lasu, 21, Olivia Winnie Muranga, 20, and Haja Umu Timbo, 21, have each been charged with one count of making false or misleading documents.
Their matters were mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday and all set down for pleas.
Two of the women tested positive for COVID-19 after the three travelled to the hotspot.
