Queensland Treasury unlikely to publicly release government financial statements before state elections despite auditor-general recommendation
Queenslanders will be left in the dark when it comes to the state’s books before an election, after the state’s Treasury flagged it would not be able to meet a recommendation by the Auditor-General to publicly release the government’s financial statements by October 31.
