Queensland travellers allowed back into WA from midnight but still have to quarantine

Travellers from Queensland will be allowed back into Western Australia from midnight on Wednesday – but they will still need to quarantine for two weeks.

Queensland has recorded its third day with no locally acquired COVID cases, meaning the state has been classified as “low risk” by the WA government.

Travellers will still be required to self-isolate for 14 days and have a COVID test 11 days after their arrival, but they will no longer need an exemption to enter WA.
