Queensland to open border to Adelaide residents from Saturday

Queensland will open its border to Adelaide residents from 1:00am on Saturday.
The South Australian capital was declared a coronavirus hotspot three weeks ago, due to a cluster in the northern suburbs.
The decision has been made on the condition that there are no additional cases that cannot be linked to a COVID-19 cluster, which affected the South Australian capital last month.
At the time, 20 local government areas in Adelaide were classified as official hotspots by Queensland Health, banning access to anyone who had visited those areas.
Residents from elsewhere in South Australia were permitted to enter Queensland provided they had not been in Adelaide for the previous 14 days.
