Queensland still using substandard quarantine sites: human rights boss
Queensland’s Human Rights Commission has criticised the state government for failing to provide hotel rooms with opening windows and balconies to quarantined travellers, more than six months after it first raised the issue.
The recommendation, which included stopping the use of hotels without the features for the state quarantine scheme, was made in an October report on the commission’s first unresolvable complaint under the new Human Rights Act.
