Queensland snake catcher endures ‘worst pain’ from pet tiger snake bite
He does one of the world’s most dangerous jobs.
But the encounter which nearly killed Queensland snake catcher Ben Avery did not come while rescuing a resident from a deadly reptile.
Rather, the man behind Bayside Snake Catchers suffered the “worst pain of my life” after being bitten while feeding his pet tiger snake.
Avery has taken to social media to detail his tortuous experience after being bitten on the thumb earlier this month.
