Queensland records another 16 COVID cases after lockdown extended to eight days

Queensland has recorded another double-digit COVID-19 case day after the lockdown was extended and a grim warning was issued about the outbreak.
On Tuesday, Deputy Premier Steven Miles confirmed there had been 16 new local cases, meaning the current outbreak of the Delta strain had grown to 47.
