Queensland police probe road, weather conditions after man’s suspected flood death
A man whose body was found in a submerged ute may have tried to drive across a flooded causeway in south-east Queensland.
Police are investigating the death of David Hornman, who was found inside his ute in a flooded creek near Lamington National Park on Wednesday morning.
The 38-year-old husband and father-of-three had been reported missing on Monday.
Before his body was found, his widow made a series of desperate pleas on Facebook for his safe return.
