Queensland police dog recovering after stabbing before Toowoomba death in custody

A badly injured police dog is “recovering nicely” after being stabbed by a man who later died in custody.
Queensland cop canine Turbo was stabbed twice with a pair of scissors during the violent arrest in Toowoomba on Sunday evening.
The suspect was tasered during the arrest and, after being treated at the scene, suffered a fatal medical episode while being taken to hospital.
