Queensland Police dog named Turbo rushed to vet after being stabbed in violent arrest
A suspect has died after allegedly stabbing a police dog named Turbo several times with a pair of scissors during a violent arrest.
Queensland Police officers in Toowoomba, in the state’s Darling Downs region, were responding to reports of a break and enter on Sunday evening.
A 32-year-old senior constable from the Darling Downs Dog Squad was one of the first officers on scene.
By his side was Turbo, who located a 31-year-old Toowoomba man allegedly involved in the crime.
