Queensland police charge woman with murder of nine-month-old boy found dead in Ipswich home

Queensland Police have charged a 34-year-old woman with the murder of a nine-month-old boy in a suburb of Ipswich, west of Brisbane, last year.

Police will allege the child died from neglect.

Detective Acting Superintendent of the Southern Region, David Briese, said paramedics discovered the child’s body at a Sonter Street address in Raceview on June 21 last year, and a major investigation commenced.
