Queensland on alert as torrential rain causes mass flooding, entire towns evacuations
More rain is expected in large areas of Queensland as towns remain isolated by floodwaters.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for inland southern areas of the state, including the Channel Country, Maranoa and Warrego districts.
