Queensland may get more virus cases – but we can handle it, experts say – Brisbane Times
With the borders to most other parts of Australia now open, Queenslanders are being urged to keep up the good work in preventing the spread of virus cases.
Professor McMillan, the program director of the Menzies Health Institute at Griffith, said as the Adelaide cluster shows, there is still a small amount of virus in pockets of Australia.
For that reason he says keeping up the practises which have seen us through the pandemic is essential.
“We will get a case or two, they will pop up and we just have to be prepared,” Professor McMillan said.
