Queensland man posed ‘extremely high level of risk’ before murdering partner: coroner
An “extremely high level of risk” was posed to a Queensland woman by her partner before he brutally murdered her.
But her fears about her safety were ignored by police in the days leading to her death, a coroner has found.
Tara Matekino Brown, 24, died after being repeatedly bashed in the face and head with a steel water hydrant cover by Lionel Patea after her rammed her car in September 2015.
