Queensland Labor MP Les Walker ‘recovering well’ after being knocked out in Townsville pub Mad Cow Tavern

Queensland’s Opposition LNP has questioned the conduct of a government MP who was knocked out while celebrating his birthday at a Townsville nightclub.

Labor MP Les Walker was hit during an alleged fight at the Mad Cow Tavern about 1am on Saturday morning.

He was taken to hospital and police are investigating.

Opposition police spokesman Dale Last questioned Walker’s behaviour.
