Queensland journalist accused of terror plot James Waugh faces court as mother launches scathing spray
A former journalist charged with plotting a terrorist attack in coastal Queensland has been identified.
James Waugh, 29, was on Friday arrested by a Joint Counter Terror Team from the AFP and Queensland Police.
He is accused of planning an attack on the town of Bundaberg.
The investigation began when Waugh allegedly made threats towards a member of the public.
If found guilty, he faces life imprisonment.
