Queensland is easing coronavirus restrictions and opening borders. Here’s what you need to know
Queenslanders will be getting more freedoms, starting today, when borders reopen to not only South Australia but New Zealand too.
But that’s not all, as of midday on Monday dancing will be allowed at venues again.
Before you dust off your best dancing shoes, here’s what you need to know about the latest easing of restrictions in Queensland.
Does this mean mosh pits are back?
Unfortunately, not.
Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said dancers must maintain social distancing, so moshing is still off the cards for now.
“What we want to see is dancing spread out across a greater area,” Ms D’Ath said.
