Queensland groom-to-be gets life in jail for stabbing murder of his brother
A Queensland groom-to-be has been sentenced to life behind bars for murdering his brother during a drunken fight, stabbing him seven times just days before the planned wedding.
Bernard John Robbins, 59, denied murdering 61-year-old Gregory Robbins at home in Buderim on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in 2019.
But a Supreme Court jury handed down a guilty verdict on Wednesday after eight hours of deliberation.
