Queensland Government announces new COVID cases after close contacts test positive

Only two contacts of a known Queensland COVID-19 patient have tested positive for the disease.
Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk delivered the “fantastic” and “encouraging news” at a press conference on Wednesday morning.
They are the only community cases confirmed on Wednesday, with another person testing positive in hotel quarantine after arriving from overseas.
The two community cases are linked to a nurse in Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital.
