Queensland female MPs speak up about harassment in the House

One of Queensland’s most senior ministers has told Parliament she was groped by an international judge at a conference in the House two years ago.
Health Minister Yvette D’Ath told Parliament the alleged incident happened while she was the attorney-general.
Last week Ms D’Ath posted her experiences of harassment as a teenager on social media, after attending the women’s March 4 Justice rally.
Speaking in Parliament today, Ms D’Ath revealed how “keyboard warriors” replied with aggressive and dismissive comments, including: “It must have been a blind man”, and: “No way, she’s way too ugly for this to be true”.
