Queensland family’s horse suffers ‘painful’ death after alleged mauling by dogs

A Queensland’s family horse has suffered a “slow” and “painful” death after allegedly being mauled by dogs which “ripped his guts apart”.
The horse named Solar, belonging to a family near Edmonton in Far North Queensland, died after the reported attack by two dogs.
It’s believed the dogs belong to a pig hunter.
Solar’s owner, Troy Gardner, told the Cairns Post the dogs “ripped his guts apart” and he was “bleeding profusely through the neck”.
