Queensland family ‘rocked’ as girl, 16, remains in coma after horror crash
A 16-year-old girl has been in a coma for nine days with “horrific” injuries after a young driver whom she “trusted” crashed a car in which she was travelling.
Molly* was travelling with three other 16-year-old girls in a Ford Focus driven by an 18-year-old man at Brendale, north of Brisbane, about 11pm on January 24.
The driver “failed to negotiate a turn” onto South Pine Road and crashed into a tree, police said.
