Queensland family issue warning after finding unwanted guest in backyard pool

A Queensland family has warned others to beware what’s lurking in their backyard pools after a snake slithered into theirs to take a dip.
Nicolle Maxwell, from Walligan near Hervey Bay, was at home on Wednesday when she spotted something outside in the pool.
“Nicky always looks at the pool when she walks past the window, usually it’s a palm frond floating but this was moving the other way to the filter flow,” her husband Greg told 7NEWS.com.au.
