Queensland family in mourning after Luna Matenga, 3, hit by a car on the Gold Coast dies
A Queensland family is in mourning after their three-year-old daughter died days after being struck by a car.
Luna Matenga was fighting for her life in hospital after the incident at Ormeau on the Gold Coast on Sunday morning.
She was crossing between two parked cars on Goldmine Road when she was struck by the Toyota Corolla, police say.
On Wednesday, her mother Jessica Feeney, said the little girl succumbed to her injuries and died on Tuesday night.
