Queensland extends COVID hotspot declarations for Sydney for weeks longer

Residents of Greater Sydney and surrounds will continue to be locked out of Queensland in coming weeks.
The Queensland government has extended a COVID-19 hotspot declaration for Sydney, including the Northern Beaches, until at least the end of the month.
Wollongong, the Central Coast, the Blue Mountains and Campbelltown are also on the banned list.
The border restrictions came into effect last month amid a growing number of cases.
