Queensland eases COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, weddings and funerals

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has announced Queensland is set to ease further COVID-19 restrictions.
From 4pm on November 17, restrictions on gatherings in homes and public spaces will increase to 50 across the state – up from 40.
Gatherings in indoor areas such as restaurants, cafes, pubs, museums and places of worship will also increase from one per four square metres to one per two square metres.
Wedding ceremonies and funerals will also increase capacity to 200.
