Queensland driver credited with saving life of teen cyclist after horror crash
A Queensland woman has thanked a driver for saving the life of her daughter after she was critically injured in a crash while riding a bike.
Tania Caraghin says her daughter Annaliese, 14, was riding with friends in Redbank Plains in Ipswich after school on February 19.
She had borrowed a bike from a friend’s neighbour which, unbeknown to Annaliese, had faulty brakes.
Annaliese crashed into a car being driven by a man on his way home from work on Russell Drive.
