Queensland COVID restrictions extended despite no further transmission linked to hotel

All Greater Brisbane hospitals, aged care and disability facilities will remain closed for another 72 hours despite Queensland avoiding further community cases of COVID-19.
Two cases have been recorded in the state on Tuesday, both in hotel quarantine in what Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk described as “great news”.
The result has alleviated fears of more cases in the community related to a cluster at Brisbane’s Hotel Grand Chancellor.
