It’s since been reported that the American-born actress first chose an emerald headpiece but was denied wearing it by the Queen.
On hearing his bride-to-be wasn’t given her first choice, it’s understood Prince Harry told his grandmother and the monarch, “what Meghan wants, Meghan gets”.
