Queen Elizabeth’s official birthday celebration will not proceed as usual this year with Buckingham Palace yet to confirm alternative arrangements.
But regardless of how the occasion will be marked, the monarch will unlikely be celebrating with as much fanfare due to the timing.
Trooping the Colour is the formal name for the Queen’s official birthday parade and is due to take place on June 12.
