Queen Elizabeth has returned with her first royal engagement in public since the coronavirus pandemic sent the world into lockdown back in March.
The monarch, 94, was joined by grandson Prince William, 38, for the visit to a new counter-terrorism facility in Porton Down, near Salisbury.
They both didn’t wear medical masks for the outing, which Buckingham Palace says was a decision made after consulting Palace medics and those who work at the facility.
