Qube eyes Toll acquisition as net profit tumbles 55pc – The Australian Financial Review
Qube Holdings has revealed it would consider buying parts of rival logistics group Toll if the trucking company were to split.

Qube’s container ports business, Patrick, was hit by falling imports of container goods and cars in fiscal 2020, with lift volumes dropping 4.9 per cent compared with a year earlier. Net profit from Qube’s 50 per cent share in Patrick slid 73 per cent to $7.5 million.
Mr James said it was hard to tell how much of the decline in imports was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how much was a general economic slowdown.
