Quarantine Cup: TA schedule new tournament for locked-down stars – The Age
Tennis Australia and the WTA have arranged a tournament for 28 women players who had to do 14 days’ hard quarantine after arriving Down Under

Barty has not played a tour match since she lost in a semi-final at the Qatar Open last February, but has been added to the field for an exhibition event in Adelaide this Friday.
The other WTA 500 events will kick off on February 1 as planned but the new tournament has deliberately been given a later start date, allowing those in hard lockdown to train for a few days before playing their first tour match of the year.
