MELBOURNE has been forced into a late, late change just minutes before the first bounce against the Western Bulldogs with a quad problem forcing former skipper Nathan Jones out of the game.

He has been replaced by versatile half-forward Mitch Hannan.
Melbourne football manager Josh Mahoney told Fox Footy at quarter-time that Jones had felt quad tightness during the warm-up, about 15 minutes before the bounce, and decided not to risk it.
