QLD weather sparks authorities to repeat safety warnings as cars seen trapped by floodwaters

“If it’s flooded, forget it.”
It’s a well-worn safety message, but authorities have had to repeat the mantra after a number of cars became caught in south-east Queensland floodwaters.
The State Emergency Service have rescued six people from floodwaters in the past 24 hours to 10am on Monday.
