Qld retirees urged to spend travel credit on expensive whitegoods
A Jura S8 Chrome Auto Coffee Machine was $2650 with The Good Guys, but the same product came with a $4088 price tag on My Credit Store – almost 55 per cent more expensive.

A Westinghouse 702-litre French Door Fridge cost $4873 through My Credit Store, but $2999 via JB Hi-Fi – a difference of more than 60 per cent.

“We’re retired now, we saved this money up before we retired for one last hurrah. It just annoys us that after 40 years of travelling, we get stung,” Mr Doyle said.
“We got onto the Queensland Office of Fair Trading, but they came back to us saying they had contacted Inspiring Vacations and couldn’t force their hand.”
